Meet little 7-week-old Trouble, well that's not really his name, but it's good enough for right now! He's been called a few other things ... Dickens (cuz he as cute as the...) and Tyson (cuz he sort of boxes your face when you hold him) and Alias (cuz he doesn't really have a name).

Between the two of them my girls have had 11 litters of pups, I thought that they might enjoy having the little tyke around. WRONG! I thought Shannon, who is the most patient creature alive, would actually like him ... NO when he is out of his puppy playpen, Shannon leaves the room. If he approaches her, she walks away

He tries to play with her, but she's having no part of him. I guess she's telling me "Been there, done that! You brought him home, You deal with him!"

Mamie, otoh, I figured would totally ignore him. Well, she does but in a way that I am still amazed at! The pup loves Mamie and plays with her almost non stop. She just lays there and lets him bite her and jump on her and never gets upset with him!

Go figure! I had the girls totally backwards. I thought I knew them .... <G>
