Tuffy Brown, call name Legs ... 91# Fawn Male ... 5 years old 37? / 63761 ... Legs once raced at the Wichita Greyhound Park but we don't know what happened to him after his racing career was over. He was found by a kind man after he had been injured in the throat by a coyote. It seems his owner had been using him as a "coyote dog" and tried to take care of the infection that set in. Legs was able to get free from the owner and was found by the kind man who took him to the vet immediately and was told "He is probably going to die." He took him home armed with lots of antibiotics and nursed him back to health and then contacted Race the Wind and asked that we take him and find him a good home. For all that he has been through, Legs is a very gentle, sweet natured dog that gets along well with the other dogs.
